Movie automation
Radarr
Movie library managerRadarr monitors movies, applies quality rules, and coordinates downloads for a clean film library.
What It Does
- Tracks wanted movies and upgrades existing files when better releases match your profile.
- Connects to indexers and download clients without making the media server do acquisition work.
- Organizes completed movies into predictable folders and filenames.
How Stackarr Fits
Stackarr uses Radarr as the movie automation layer and can apply shared download, naming, Recyclarr, Seerr, backup, and service-link settings without making you jump between apps.
Stackarr's movie filename preset includes Plex's {edition-Edition Name} marker whenever Radarr parses a non-empty Edition Tags value. Radarr does not allow that token in its movie-folder pattern, but Plex supports the marker in either the filename or folder. The release name must identify the edition, or the edition must be selected explicitly in Radarr or tinyMediaManager; a title appearing in a boutique label's catalog is not enough to identify the particular file's edition.
